On October 22nd 2012, we, Hayley Taylor and Daniel Robertson bought the disused Savoy Bingo Hall.

We are two professional theatre technicians with more than fifty years experience between us in all aspects of entertainment.

From 1998 until 2008 we operated a large community theatre in South-East England.Following the loss of our rented premises we decided to move elsewhere.

After a long search for a suitable building we came across the Savoy Bingo Hall. We submitted plans in late 2012 for its conversion into the Savoy Theatre, and these were voted in unanimously at the Development Control Committee meeting in Clydach Vale on 2nd May 2013.

Over the past three years, the two of us, along with the help of a few friends and our families when they visit, have undertaken the conversion into the theatre.

It is now 2016, and the conversion is almost complete.

Our aim is to provide state of the art technical facilities whilst offering a friendly, professional and affordable venue.
